We can provide skilled, experienced riding crews to assist with pipe repairs, welding and fabrication, all aspects of electrical and mechanical engineering whilst the vessel is underway. This saves superyacht owners and operators from the inconvenience of being laid up awaiting completion of repairs, when finished our crew will simply depart at the next port of call.
Our riding crews can comprise of qualified welders and/or mechanical and electrical engineers that are OEM trained and experienced in a broad range of equipment and systems across various vessels and platforms.
All personnel are confined space certified, and prepared to travel internationally. We routinely provide mechanical and electrical engineers, welders and fabricators to a variety of superyacht customers.
We’re well versed in the provision of riding crews therefore when we deploy nothing is left to chance and we’ll come prepared with all items of plant, equipment and spares which may reasonably be needed for the project.
Our riding crews are experienced at working onboard operational in-service superyacts and also during sea trials following build and refit programmes to provide technical guidance and support. We have a great deal of experience in the provision of riding crews for in-service short and long sea voyages and superyacht commissioning following major refits at Burgess Marine. The provision of our riding crews in not conditional on us refitting your vessel, we’re happy to help wherever and whatever the circumstances may be.
Our riding crews understand the balance between meeting engineering requirements whilst maintaining the harmony of an operational, in-service superyacht.
