Our mechanical engineers are both competent and experienced in all aspects of marine engineering including working within original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) guidelines. With a Ruston, Wartsila, MAK, Caterpillar, Mitsubishi and Doosan trained engineering team, our engineers are supported by dedicated experienced technical management, modern infrastructure and a long standing relationship and proven track record of working with all the major OEMs. We have the knowledge in-house.
Mechanical engineering works include complete main engine and auxiliary engine strip down and overhaul, as well as ancillary machinery and equipment repairs / renewals, steering gear, shafting and propulsion machinery repairs / renewals pipework and ships control systems repairs / renewals.
We also specialise in physical removal and exchange; to include structural works, electrical works, fleeting and slinging. We have mechanical workshops and equipment at all of our sites and have invested in the technology and skills required to support the overhaul of pistons, cylinder heads, liners, pumps and other key engine components utilising approved OEM spare parts and procedures
Main and ancillary engine overhauls and exchanges are our most commonly delivered mechanical engineering service. We have direct experience across a wealth of differing marine platforms, such as tugs, offshore oil/gas platforms, coasters, high speed craft, Superyachst, cruise chips, ROPAX ferries and dredgers to name but a few. We specialise in the removal and re-installation of plant including clearing the work-in-way, structural works in steel and / or aluminium, slinging, pipework, electrical disconnection and reconnection.
