We have worked across the energy and renewables sector for many years; our experience includes the provision of OEM trained mechanical engineers to work offshore supporting main and ancillary generator overhauls and the fabrication of bespoke marine grade components; such as sea anchors, weather buoys and specialised pipework. We understand the requirements of our energy and renewables customers not just in terms of delivery, but also with regards to safety, health, environment, quality and a superior standard of administration.
As a business we have also undertaken heavy engineering in this specialised sector too; we have successfully deployed over 200 men to assist with both oil & gas rig refits and decommissioning.
We have also replaced offshore sea water intakes at Nuclear Power Stations; our diving team and engineering teams specialise in ‘life extension’ programs and we routinely support major engineering projects in this sector:
From our bases in Lowestoft, Dover, and Portsmouth we’ve supported infrastructure and vessel operators supporting Scroby Sands, Ness Point, Greater Gabbard, Kentish Flats, London Array, Thanet and Rampion.
As well as Nuclear Power Stations at Sizewell, Dungeness and Hinkley Point. Our engineering expertise is marine centric and focuses on platforms , outflows, associated plant, equipment and marine assets such as piles, barges, floating platforms, quaysides, link spans, access platforms and bridges.
We can prime works but often work directly for the tier one contractor or the principle asset manager; either way we are professionally experienced and happy to work under a prime as a secondary contractor.
